Bought a NAD 3220PE off the tree yesterday for some change. I though it may be good for use in the garage. I was aware that the left channel was dead.

Power it on presents a loud buzzing sound. The right channel plays well though. Changing the balance all the way to the left leaves the buzzing sound, changing balance to the right and music's plays fine.

Opened it up and all fuses are good. I notices a resistor looks black (R438) and the contact is broken as per the first Pic.
Could it be the sole cause of the issue with the channel?
