Always wondered about this.  :thinking:  Sellers are often quick to point out that this is purely cosmetic and "does not effect sound...."  but how true is this actually?  Are there exceptions to the rule?  If so, which type of tweeter/tweeter fabric should one steer clear of if damaged?  Yes I'm aware the tweeter can be replaced, but let's assume it won't be.  I personally wouldn't buy such a speaker regardless, but it seems a lot of people "would."
