I have found some boards that are used as the ceiling in offices, not sure what it is called, but seems to be pressed pulp covered with Plaster of Paris. Now I am curious, could this be used to reduce reflections/standing waves?
Off course there is a reason why I am asking ;D Due to limitations in room layout and the ever present WAF, my front speakers(relatively tall floorstanders-Morduant-Short Avant 908s, 3-way with side-facing woofer) are squashed into corners and about 50cm from the back wall(unevenly shaped bricks) and I was wondering if I using these boards could potentially improve the sound
