Sony MC-60 microcassettes
« on: March 07, 2018, 10:32:12 PM »
My wife was about to throw out some old Sony MC-60 microcassettes from a long-finished research project. They are about 20 years old and pristine, having only been recorded on once.

There are 49 of them. Why not 50 you ask? I don't know. Collection only in Kensington Jhb.

Apparently not. Seems you were the only one keeping his wife barefoot & pregnant, bent over the stove in a dark cave, recording her Cinderella-like life experiences on a crank powered dictaphone.
And you had the face to advertise this medieval kit on no other day but 8. March!! Coincidence? Don't think so.

Misogynist of mythological proportions!

Mike I actually used the dictaphone to send her instructions (e.g. bring beer etc.) and my musings on traditional gender roles - there was a chute from my listening chair down into the cave for me to drop them into. There was a little tear in her eye when she brought me the box of tapes....

I will cash in the beer voucher next w/e

(It really was a co-inky-dink that I posted it on Women's day)

And quickly before the mods lock this:
Q: Do you use your dictaphone?
A: No, I use my finger like everyone else
