Groan. So it is relatively easy to find the ZTX450 and 550s. And everyone stocks the Vishay IRFP9240s... but RS doesn't stock the n-channel counterpart IRFP240. Mantech doesn't have stock currently. Communica doesn't stock.
Digikey and Mouser will cost $60 in shipping.
So I guess I need alternatives...
There is the IRFP244, which is an uprated version of 240 (higher DS voltage, more current handling)... but there appears to be no equivalent p-channel equivalent. Any thoughts on whether I can use the IRFP9240 and IRF244 together? I don't know enough about MOSFETs to tell if they have same equivalent of a bjt's HFE.
Basically the only large P-channel MOSFET available is the 9240... the others all have 100V or less DS voltage.
Unless someone has a spare IRFP240 lying around ...
