Got this Telefunken tw509 auto idler deck with a nice soft idler wheel and nice 10? platter but the arm was badly messed up so I decided I still have the Beogram 1000 with the speed problem so 2 becomes 1 as the arm measure the same effective lenght. Substituting the B&O arm and removing the auto mechanism which I tried incorporating but the plunger moving the arm up and down resulted in a lot of play so it?s out.
Another observation is I can also add the B&O platter outer ring as it fits over the 509 platter as it us a two piece design.
