I have a friend who wants to use headphones with his TV. The problem is his TV only has an optical out (TOSLINK). What are some options, preferably cheap, that he can look into for converting that into a headphone jack?

He is open to the idea of a speaker with an optical input but so far the only option we have come across is the Logitech Z625, which sadly is not yet available locally.  :( Are there any other brands that offer something similar?

He has also tried the DAC route by buying one of these: https://www.amazon.com/PROZOR-Digital-Converter-Supports-control/dp/B06XDLCHY7/ but the quality wasn't great as the audio started clipping at higher volumes. Amazon is also a pain to deal with when it comes to returns, so what DAC options are available locally that would meet his requirements?
