I have heard these. They do sound absolutely amazing!

Thanks Lanties..

I have owned speakers that a lot of people rave about.. Vivid 1.5, B1, K1. B&W N802, Matrix 801, D802 etc. and the list goes on for miles.

These speakers with the right amp just did EVERYTHING right. Just magical.

Yes they are large, and yes to they do not have a "brand" tag, although their ATC heritage ( I believe they are better) should mean some..

BUT , to me they outclassed all the above mentioned.

Just thought I would mention it..

Bump ..

or.. incredible offer.. buy my set of ARC amps , with front end advertised with the monitors for R112k and I will include cables worth over R10k :giggle:

To replace a system like this will cost a lot more than R500k.. trust me.

Wish I had the space, I would buy them back in a heart beat!

Second best speakers I have heard after my Faital Horns (biased of coarse)
Seriously you will have to spend 200K+ to get anything remotely near as capable as these.
SDA Acoustics loudspeakers, Audio Research Ref 3 Pre amp and Ref 210 power amps, Bel Canto VB3.5 Dac, Pathos Endorphin cd player, squeeze box touch.

Those are brilliant speakers. I heard them at Francois' place. To my ears they were the best speakers on the day we compared. And there were big names with big price tags.

Weekend bump..

Just as some background:

These speakers are roughly based on the ATC 100 SCM monitors. These are passive and have the better Scan Speak BE Tweeter.

The Bass and Mids units are the same as the SCM 100.

They are easy to drive @ 89db - 8 ohm.

They are beautifully made and sound better than the original SCM 100 imho.

Pardon if a stupid question, but what is the relationship between the advertised speakers and those in the links supplied? The look quite different.
