Does one need to get a lawyer involved for a basic legal agreement between 2 or 3 parties.
I have a will in place with my lawyers but would just like to have an agreement on the side should I pass before my mom.
My lawyer suggested an agreement rather than a codicil to my will as a will can be changed without the other part knowing. An agreement/claim would then be binding even if I changed my will.
