Yeah, and I guess as long as it's not bent it should be fine. Kind of like HDMI, data is data is data right?

There sadly imo are audible differences in a high res system but there one would use co ax or AES ebu if possible.

In AV most should be fine.  Try not bump the polished ends.  One of the big differences apparently is the care taken to polish the ends after cutting.

Wish I'd known that... bought mine at the local Hyper for R199 for exactly the same reason as above. Was also the last one that they had. Never thought of Clicks, which are just across the road from the Hyper.
