B&W 683 boxes
« on: January 13, 2018, 07:38:14 AM »
Good day chaps, the time has finally come and the movers are coming end of this month.
I'm looking for a pair of original B&W 683 boxes for the move. If you have we can talk how many Mandela's to part with them.
The movers can crate them but I'm still more comfortable with the original boxes.
Thanks

Location- Johannesburg

Talk to HFX and ask them to spare a pair for you when they do installations. You may be lucky that way

Not sure where you are based.

Clive can build the boxes according to spec. He is based in Durban.

I talked to them months ago, they were made it pretty clear they don't sell boxes and were quite frankly annoyed that I even asked.

Didnít realize that the relocation is actually migration. You invited me to your house but never got time to do it and I think I missed out on listening to great gear in a great room and making great friendship. All of the best

There's still time but only 2 weeks or so before the movers arrive. I also need to remove 30 odd sound absorbers to fill the million holes in the walls before the new owners move in.

Off to join Attie and see how the other half live down under.
I'll drop you a PM shortly though.
