i have an aged but wonderful Dynaco FM3 tuner that i am refurbishing. the pcbs are very cruddy. is there any 'substance' that i can use to clean the boards without removing components - due to the pcbs' age and construction i am extremely wary of lifting/breaking tracks.

i need to check if an IF filter is tuned to 10.7MHz, my oscillator only works up to 5MHz even so i have absolutely no knowledge of RF whatsoever. is there anyone around in the JHB/Pretoria area who can assist
