Thanks for the concern about the red but there is still an ample supply here, just a week filled with far to much work for a lazy man.

Final sketches of first horn, maybee allso real drawings, will be here during weekend, drawings are depending of migrating my old, very old, autocad to this computer, this will, as usual, be painfull as it will not want to live in or work in a Windows10 environment, not more than when i put it in an XP several years ago.

But rest assured, when wine supply is dangerously low, i will let You know.

Actually, the paper, pencil and a glass of red (or two) works. It is slower, not as neat looking as the autocad drawings, but You get the time to look at whats on the paper, while refilling the glass also time to think, nothing im very familiar with, this time thou i saw it, or rather, the thought arrived, KISS, there it is, far to much timber, to many unneccesary pieces of quality plywood in the first sketches.

Still on the paper, pencil and a glass of red level but this is how this will be done, as a bonus we get the rear wall version and the free standing included, the free standing needs two aditional pieces of plywood 110x25cm.

Soon ready to do the real drawings, cutting lists needed.

Installing my 20 year old autocad nthis computer didnt work that well, wont run in a 64bit environment without buying a new license. some 20,000sek seems a bit steep when im not using it comersially anymore.

Found and downloaded LibreCad, freeware based in the GNU comunity, looks exactly like autocad, works allmost the same way, as im an old slow learner You will have to bear with me for a while, drawing is not a problem, setting meassures i have found on entities, not free running point to point yet, also getting readable font size is still a mystery.

If nothing comes in between ill be able to do real drawings, the way i want them, come spring 2019.

Untill then, first shots of the horn demanded by KJS, also by myself.

Not only slow learner, rather stupid too, one, very important, wall missing in that first side view drawing, but there should be no lid on the part between baffle and first horn wall, we let that be part of the compression chamber, improving lf response.

i Have now got an autocad version that should work i w10, (thanks to a forum member here) not gotten the installation to work yet but will get through that, now i have this LibraCad to work a bit better (starting to understand bits and pieces i should have written but dont want You to know the states of affairs entirely)

Getting some more measures in place now, still some more to do and the finished drawing with cutting list and some really stupid advice from the designer will be here in a day or two.

Now i think most measures are there, the top "roof" should be duplicated for the free standing version.

Measures and cutting list are for 18mm ply, front, base and top, all other panels 15mm ply.

Front 400x1100mm, wise to put a hole with for the driver suitable diameter, center of hole 150mm from top.

Rear wall of first chamber 400x1100mm, two cut outs 85x150mm

Side walls of first chamber 152x1050mm

First horn wall 200x904mm

Second horn walls  152x950mm

Third horn wall 400x914mm

Outher side walls 400x1100mm

Bottom 400x400mm

Top 400x700mm cut 45 degrees 20x20 on rear shaping corner closing top.

For free standing horn bottom same size and shape as top but still placed underneath the horn.

Corner shaping (last horn walls) of free standing horn minimum 282x1100mm optimum 900x1100mm

PDF with drawing, cutting list, thoughts on building sequence, different driver mountings dependent on frame type and damping (minimal but some should be applied at the right places.

First of all, one should not draw and set measures on the last piece without using Your head, im very prone to such behaviour.

This is the correct drawing of top.

And correct measures of bottom

430x400mm

Top 430x700mm, cutting 45 degrees from centerline to 486mm y-axis.

Minimum width corner shaping walls of free standing horn 304mm.

Ingvar.  I don't quite understand what you mean by this.  I'm interested in building this but in a freestanding version hence my question.
