I just got one of these from cash crusaders... A bit of an impulse purchase but the price was good and I was looking at the phono stage in particular as I might need something with a MC capability at some stage....
Tested it in store and it worked fine (given that the rep plugged it into some Zebra PA speakers and used a 'dixons' DJ CD scratcher thingy-ma-bob as a source)...
Should I have it serviced or can I treat it as good to go?

By the way... they had a NAD 3020i for R1500 ( a bit steep I think but if you want it...) and a Maudant Short MS930 Sub for R600 (cosmetically not so good)...
