I've had two of these gadgets over many years to store my phone numbers and contacts. Both I've had have dead screens depite new batteries.
I tracked a cheapie a Takealot but there are too many hoops to jump through when you try to buy their wares and instead these people want to force their newsletters and promotions down one's throat and I'm not interested in their blowup sex dolls anyway.
The last one - the 64kb has 3 batteries. Two for operating and one for memory backup. I thing if one removes all three batteries, all its memory will be wiped - gone.
Anyone has one laying disused in a cupboard?
