Is there a device that will enable me to stream music to my analogue amp, using wi-fi and, I reckon, incorporating DAC circuitry. I imagine such a device should exist, if not, it's high time someone invents one.

Thanks Cam, shall follow it up.

This one is cheap as chips, has a Wolfson DAC and should plug in to any amp or reciever you have. The only caveat is that it was on Takealot for something like R399.

Have you used this device?  I can't find any information on the formats (and bitrates) it will decode.

I bought the Airtry on Friday and returned it on Sunday.

The wifi setup is painful.  I had to repeatedly "forget" the SSID and reconnect before BubbleUPNP would see the Airtry renderer.
The sound quality was poor and I would not recommend it.
