Time for a slice of humble pie :Ooooooh:
As much as I berate MS and MS laptops and champion Mac and OSX (and still do) my trusty Macbook Air just was not practical enough for its intended function at work. Yes I went through Parallels and Bootcamp etc but it proved a drag in the end.
To that end, I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 edition and the matching pen. Spending most of my work day in meetings either presenting or taking notes this is proving to be a most superb business tool. Switching between tablet mode and taking notes in OneNote, wireless presenting and then back to laptop mode for general email, Word, Project, Excel work etc. 8 hour battery life in a typical day and plenty of grunt in terms of performance. Fanless design with a dual core latest gen i5 CPU, 8GB ram and 256GB SSD.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a versatile and capable business laptop.
