hey Guys
Take-a-lot has the Marantz SR5012 on "special" again today. I look at it each time it hits the daily deals and am never quite sure about it. Web reviews seem quite positive.
Anybody got any comments or thoughts about the amp?
I was running a Denon (forget the model) for many years and never really liked the sound of it at all. It stopped working nicely about a year or so ago so went back to my first love, a Yamaha RX-V520 that I have had for years but obv feature wise it is in the dark ages and no HDMI. I run B&W DM 604 at the front with a B&W AS6 sub. Not had AV for a long time now so no center or surrounds at the moment. (did have B&W CC6 center in the center and B&W DS6 THX Dipole surrounds at the back which are packed away)
Would probably get back into AV if I got a new AV amp but stereo is really important.
Doubt I would use the dipoles again.
