I recently bought three records from Amazon UK. The arrived on the day they said it would and the packaging was excellent. The price worked out to R263-00 per record everything included.

However one record is slightly buckled. I was concerned about this and emailed them. This is an abstract from their reply:

First of all, please allow me to apologise for the issue you have experienced with this item. I have placed a new order and it will be dispatched at no additional charge as soon as possible to the same address.

...

When sending a replacement for an damaged item, we usually request that you return the original item to Amazon.co.uk within 30 days of the date on which Amazon.co.uk confirms we will issue a replacement. However, as the cost of returning the package is in this case prohibitively expensive, we ask that you keep the original item with our compliments. There will of course be no additional charge for the replacement order.

Previously I ordered several books from them which never arrived. When I investigated this it turned out that the Post Office did indeed receive the books but I never received a notice to go collect them! So they returned the books to Amazon the day before I inquired ::). When I informed Amazon they immediately placed a new order for the books apologizing all they way as if it was their fault - even before they have received the returned books!

At the bottom of the email I received about the record (which I got less than 30 minutes after I emailed them!) is this line:

Your feedback is helping us build Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company.

They are well on track in my book!

Well done Amazon!
