e-Piphany have a range of Audioquest cables.

If you don't want to spend that much, look at loot.co.za.  They have the range of Lindy USB cables.  I have a few of these.  Very well constructed and high quality plugs.  About 40% less than the cheapest Audioquest

I'm also looking for a good quality USB A to USB B cable. I saw the Lindy ones on Loot, but what I don't understand is it says 480kbps transfer rates? What about listening to FLAC or WAV from the laptop to the DAC which is about 700-900kbps for FLAC and 1411kbps for WAV?

^^^ USB 2.0 is rated for 480 Mbps (theoretical). 480 megabits equal about 60 megabytes.
More than enough for any audio format currently in existence, afaik.

I see Loot.co.za and takealot stock them, and they super cheap by them. Wantitall.co.za got them for R480. I paid if I remember correctly, about R400 a few years ago.

The actual cable is neither here nor there.  It is digital, so the electrical requirements are minimal.  What does matter is the quality of construction.  Substituting a well-made USB cable instead of a sub R10 printer cable makes all the difference in the world
