I would be interested in anyone's experience in the DIY cable field?
For example, anyone compared silver with copper in a similar construction/make up and who for example has tried different dielectrics, Teflon, cotton, silk etc? My interest is primarily in terms of loudspeaker cables but I guess if someone experimented it might probably be with ICs as it is just a little easier to execute so also please share the impressions.
I don't want to fuel the debate on cables and really are only interested in experiences with experiments even if the outcomes were "there are no differences".
I recently made some interesting observations when I change the loudspeaker cables because of necessity, from Mundorf silver foil to Mundorf copper foil.
