Hi Folks
Got me a Rotel RC1580 to replace my RC1090.
Although more musical, the 1580 rolls off steeply just under 50Hz meaning i miss the low string on a guitar or violin. The 1090 never had this issue. It went down to the speakers' 35Hz audibly and enjoyably well. Is it possible to tweak the 1580 to retain its musicality but gain the low end substance that the 1090 has? I don't want to add a sub. The issue seems to be the difference between the two pre-amps. I hope my question doesn?t sound too dof (pun intended)
