EAR 834P clone

Has anyone here ever built one of these from the cloned boards available on ebay? There are quite a number of threads about it on Lencoheaven. Thinking about ordering one for myself to see what all the fuss is about.

I got one from Jim's audio as part of batch of stuff, good quality boards.  Sold it on the forum some time ago without building as I just have too many unfinished projects.  Liked the layout, seem to remember it needed SUT's though.  Member might still have it

Yes needs a transformer but this could probably be sourced locally?
Secondary : 0-250V/100MA 0-250V/100MA 0-5-6.3-8V/3A 0-12.6V/2A
If anyone has one of these boards available I would be interested, they are fairly cheap on ebay but shipping takes forever.
One of the members on lencoheaven designed an upgraded psu which is apparently a massive improvement over the supplied one.  :nfi:

If it's anywhere close to the real thing, it will be worth it. I've contemplated this until I got a Dulcet.
