Installed High Sierra with the APFS file system. Everything works 100% except for Spotlight

I thought the sound-stage a little more deep with the new OS, having spent the morning listening to some favourite pieces. Certainly, the soundtrack of movies with 5.1 sound output via a HDMI cable is better, more defined
