That came out very nice.  :2thumbs:  Well done and kudos.

I really like what you did with the feet, very clever yet simple.

Thank you dekardy
The feet works quite well. I think the isolation is not too shabby.

They look fantastic, CC! A job to be proud of.

I'm quite sure they would look even better in my lounge, however... y'know, vintage equipment and all that kinda stuff!  :whistler:

Thank you guys  :2thumbs:

F_D  I have a soft spot for vintage kit myself.

Trompie67 - the steam punk lamp was my attempt at soldering.

Larry - How do they sound? Superb  :) Bass is good. There is much more bass than what I expected to get from these drivers.  Sound stage is huge - 3D. Mids are phenomenal and highs sweet and crisp. Imaging is excellent. I am indeed very happy with the results.

I can second the sound you are experiencing based on the SABC monitor boxes I had mine in...
what amp are you using ? They sound extremely good with a SET amp like 2a3 .. I can only imagine what a 45 would sound like ...

Thank you HB! - it was actually an easy build.

I am using a DIY 10W Yamaha chip amp. I would love to try a SET 2a3 on these speakers. Perhaps one day I will try my hand at building one.
