Hi Guys. I'm looking for a set of bookshelf speakers and I was thinking in the line of:
Monitor Audio BR2
Cambridge Audio SX60 (or aero 2)
B&W DM601
Boston Acoustics A26

budget & location could be a good idea. give people an idea of what you are looking for.

Thanx Ron.

Well, I'm based in Vanderbijlpark and Boksburg, but I work in Modderfontein.

My budget is in the area of R2500 and preferably something in black.

Hi Guys. I'm looking for a set of bookshelf speakers and I was thinking in the line of:
Monitor Audio BR2 BX2 - you could get those for similar money. I personally prefer the B2( 1st gen) or BX2 to the BR2, the BR2 is like the akward middle child here( IMO). I haven't heard the latest B2 so cant comment on that
Cambridge Audio SX60 (or aero 2)
B&W DM601  602 s3 stretch your budget by around 1k
Boston Acoustics A26

The above are just my Opinions and alternative suggestions to help widen your search a bit base on my opinions , it is just an opinion of mine and you might not like the same thing.

If you would consider the Boston Acoustics classic CS26 ii as an option, you could get it new for your budget inclusive if a 5 year warranty.

I realise it's not on your list, but I am reasonably sure that it won't disappoint you.

Good Luck.
