Franco Serblin - KtÍma Loudspeakers
« on: September 21, 2017, 09:48:18 PM »
Dearest Mr. Serblin,
I am sitting in front of Ktema speakers and whilst listening to my album, I felt the need to sit down in front of the computer to write and congratulate you for the quality of these speakers and the pleasure they give me whilst listening.
Even my voice seems warmer and more beautiful !
A real home theatre, where the singer is right there, in front of you.
......many congratulations for " a possesion for ever "...

They are magnificently crafted and I am sure they sound awesome ... what I do find funny is the following statement: "Even my voice seems warmer and more beautiful !"

To me this is always what enjoyable music reproduction has been about - making it sound beautiful and not necessarily always 100% accurate.

As long as I can still enjoy the music I'm happy.

PS: My listening preference - 90% Stereo Music; 9% Surround Music; 1% Movies and other

^^^ Too true. And people always go on about wanting to hear the music "exactly as the artist intended".

Mr. Serblin was a master indeed.

I think Franco Serblin was a true artist in own right. His work was functional art from all perspectives. In my opinion, he ranks up there with all the icon designers of the recent times, like Dieter Rams, Eames, Gaudi, Arne Jacobson, Zaha Hadid, Phillip Stark, Frank Lloyd Wright, Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier and Jonathan Ive.

I really admire what he achieved.
