Vee, a great looking room, with lots of shiny reflective surfaces, if i after a similar build may give some advice, you might need to look at building a room within a room, else sound proofing would be a no show, so to speak.  Check my profile posts, you will find it there. Elsewhere, i think Kent kassler or Rodney said that you can have average speaker but with a properly treated room, they will sound like much higher quality speakers, same for having great gear in a bad acoustic room, just to the wrong way... my biggest investment was the soundproofing / acoustic treatment.  Enjoy the journey and    May you spend many a good evening in there!

Looks really good Vee. Like what you did with roof matching the front wall for preventing reflection. Is that a JVC projector?

Was just thinking you could cover that whole wall with curtains..would look cool and possibly take care of some of the reflections

thats the plan - the old room was slightly smaller so there will be a space on either ends of the wall but not too much...
