Hi folks
I just acquired this amp for R950. Anyone know anything about it, apart from the fact that it is marked CLass A and runs HOT!? Very little info on the web, it seems to date from about 1994.
I currently have an old Nad AV711 driving Tannoy M4s for movies, but I want a separate set up for music. I think this'll do for a start, now I'm looking for good cheap old speakers! I've got a pair of Mission 760i's which i really like, but I have a feeling this amp needs something better. The 1960s Wharfdale Dovedales I got from Steve were lovely, but I gave them to my kid - living in poverty in varsity digs, his need was greater than mine! At 40W the amp won't drive high-consumption speakers, so I've given up on the Magneplanar idea.
