Was wondering about something:
I've read that PCC88/7DJ8 valves can be safely used as a replacement for ECC88/E88CC/6922/6DJ8 valves.
(And not the other way round.)
Is this correct?
Reason I ask is PCC88/7DJ8 valves seem to be at least half the price, on average.
If they can work in the same circuits, why don't they get used more often?
