Hi all.

Got a Pioneer PL-12 (not the D or other variants).

I'm a bit stumped on how to go about fitting the cartridge,  Headshell and configuring the arm.

My first TT was a NAD 5020A. It had the manual and it was pretty well documented on how all the settings get configured. I battled a bit but after an hour or so I was sorted.

This is where I'm stuck with the pioneer,

1. I'm fitting an AT95E on the Headshell with the two little bolts and nuts. I'm confused about how to align it (how far back or forward it should be). I have read about the Pioneer 49mm rule but I would rather take someone's advice.  The NAD was easy as the mat had a marker that it needed to align too. The other PL models has an overhang marker with the PL-12 doesn't have.

2. The NAD'S arm had markings in the counter weight. Also had a dial for anti skate.
The Pioneer has nothing. At this point I'm stumped. I know from reading that I need to zero the counterweight and the adjust the tracking force in line with AT95E requirement (2 grams).

Normally I would read up on this extensively before asking for help but there is no manual for the PL-12 online. Can find for the PL-12D and others but nothing for the PL-12.

Help would be greatly appreciated
