Hey guys, complete and utter noob to DIY audio.

I listen to my music mostly at work when driving my desk and always looking for a little better sound. I am also just busy completing a Raspberry Pi DAC setup and would like to bring it around with me.

I have started doing some research into some Headphone Amps. There is a lot of info out there, maybe to much and a lot of broken links at the same time.

Listed some of the projects I am investigating at the end of the post and have started to see what I can source in parts locally. I am not big on importing stuff into this county, lost packages time and time again and just don't trust our system.

I was wondering if anybody local offers a good DIY headphone amp, preferably a tube if possible. I know there is Mars but that is some advanced equipment and maybe a bit to much for a desk system. I remember in the past there were some guys on here with some good stuff on offer.  Yebo and the like dont look like what I am looking for.

(New to DIY audio but been building Arduino and Pi projects for quite a few years so should be able to handle what is coming my way)

This is what I have been basing my research on, in order of preference:

- Millett Starving Student Hybrid Tube Amp
- http://tangentsoft.net/audio/cmoy/  (obv not a tube but looks like a good starter)
