I wonder if a radio station can be held to account for flighting adverts that blatantly mislead?
Case in point - Mix FM is currently running an advert for a product called Aquapol.
These are normal 30 second adverts - not adverts/endorsements from the presenters that are on air at the time the advert is played.
However the entire premise behind this product is such blatant snake oil BS that I can only wonder why and how on earth it got accepted by Mix FM?
Surely they have some sort of a responsibility to their listeners not to broadcast untruths? Or am I just being a wally for expecting ethics & morals vs. cash?
