I have got hold of 30 x Samsung 18650 li-ion cells from an old 36 volt battery pack.
The majority of the cells should still be good as it from a pack that bricked after only a few hours of use.

I'm thinking of going with a 4S6P configuration.

Saw the charge/discharge PCB's on eBay.  Are these what I should be looking at?

The Tripath amp likes 12-14 volts so I should be able to power it without any voltage adjustment.
Perhaps the innards of a car-style USB adaptor could work for the 5 volt requirements.

Then I also need a charger.  Seeing the above PCB's are supposed to requlate the charge current and voltage, will it be OK to use a DC supply with approx. the voltage required - 14.8 volts?

Any help will be appreciated.
