I saw a TEAC sound system this weekend. Amp, tape deck, FM Tuner and turn table. No chance to listen to it.
The quality/looks was not tacky but it also did not look great. Was there ever a time when TEAC was considered desirable or good. From my recollection it was always a low end brand.
