Perhaps I'm just too analytical & too sceptical.

Course value - per the blurb from Mr. Walsh is R22,755. See here: https://www.quicket.co.za/events/26746-the-real-entrepreneur-3-day-intensive-jhb/#/

Yet he's selling tickets for the 3 day event for R1,995.

Now when I look at this I fail to see value. I see a typical TV sales nonsense for Verimark & whatever - "BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!" type of vibe.

I can sell you one of our products that we bundle - say a Powerbank, pen & notebook. I can then say that these items are worth R3k, but we're selling them for R500 each. This is of course assuming that you do not bother to look at the individual pricing.....

Like this:
How Rich People Think by Steve Siebold E-Book. (Value: R295) except if I but it from Amazon it is $11-39 = R150.
Secret of The Millionaire Mind by T-Harv Eker E-Book. (Value: R295) but I can buy it on Kobo for R183.
Start With Why by Simon Sinek E-Book. (Value R295) but it is only $10 (R132) on Kobo.

So he's placing R885 "value" on items that only cost R465. I find that deceitful.

As always, YMMV.

Perhaps you guys are right. Anyway, I'm out of pocket either way.
Thank for looking into it and comments.

@ Shronver. You used the word Razzmatazz and that brought back memories of a restaurant of the same name in Umhlanaga Rocks. Is that place still trading ?

I don't know the restaurant, personally. Maybe someone else can comment on that.
Perhaps you should try and see what is possible for you to be able attend. That's a wad of cash to lose. I don't think anyone so far has grounds to doubt the content. It's just the smell of BS embellishment that permeates the air and throws doubt on the value for money on offer.

Entrepreneurial courses are pretty simple: How a business works. Understanding your core offering. Scaleability. How the markets work. Market sectoring. Target markets. Accounting. Cash flow analysis. How to value a business. Business ventures. Startups. Venture capital. Registering a business. Tax. This is just off the top of my head (and I'm no expert!). There is not much that can be added, except razzmatazz.

some guy giving a lecture asked: what's better when you come out of it ...an inspired fool or educated person!

Each to their own....

Tell you what... I've seen some very successful (in business) fools! So, you have a very good point there!

Why not go? No harm in going in any case - you have the tickets so go and attend. Worst case scenario & you gain nothing it's merely 3 days out of your life.

It's not that, doesn't look like I can make it.
Anyone have anything they want to swop for the tickets ??
Maybe I should just give it away for free.

Finding someone that will see the same value as you did will be hard I think.
Try selling them some other way or another platform before taking such a knock.
