Very nice eye-candy.
Still cannot help to imagine Sylvester jumping those Spirits, mistaking them for Tweety

Llllaaawdy, these systems just seem waaay out there!  :notworthy:

Fantastic design and some real lookers, they probably cost the price of a decent house in the area where I live.
And do they actually sound that much better than 10-20 years ago..?
Off course impossible to say,but one can't help but wonder if selling a dream is replacing a passion?  :nfi:

Werner.....exacly my opening post....put Munich on your Bucket list

this is a true "eye opener"....

Some product really sound good....But I do not believe that any of these systems are sounding Great....given the cost one has to pay.

I have heard many a "low cost systems in S.A. performing superb compared to these exotic product available.

We have now Idea how good someone like Schalk's(Valve Audio) in S.A. is compared to some delicious items on offer in Munich.

Same goes for value for Money on the Vivids(a prophet never gets recognition in its own town)

Sometimes I think the hype and bling is all about the designer(individual) and marketing.

there is truly some VERY wealthy people across the world....using pocket money to finance their hobbies...

But we only live once.....book that ticket next year👍👍👍

Some very good photographs Ben.

It is easy to confuse bling and ostentatiousness with quality and style. I find ostentatiousness quite vulgar and on the upper end of this hobby, it seems to be the trend.

Look for the real gems between the circus acts and send us some pics of those as well.

Enjoy!

^^ Can't agree more with u gents.

Hehe,so it's an 'eye opener' rather than an 'ear opener' Ben!  :giggle:

I agree that the battle on outdoing each other on exterior design seems to be a focus of many of those exhibitors.
And in doing so,they start bordering on the ridiculous, rather than the sublime.
But,as Stefan said, there will be some 'gems',and your pics are great,so keep them coming!

Also reassuring to read that our guys don't have to stand back to some of those alarmingly priced brands.
And soon the Air Music range will be available here, which I am sure will easily stand it's ground against some of those exorbitantly priced speakers, with far better elegance and class in design and aesthetics!  :2thumbs:

Well said guys👏👏

Although one see most of the same each year....most Manufacturers have the same stands, looking for those gems always excite 😜

From a Commercial point of view the show is great.

I can meet with all my Suppliers...US, Canada, New Zealand, Europe and UK at one venue.

For most they feel Munich is the place to be...
CES Vegas is dying....heard from couple of Manufacturers that they do not bother exhibiting their anymore. I guess still good for US market.

Always good to see other Manufacturers making use of products that on represent.

Both Emm Labs and Shunyata products were used and seen in these systems

Magnepan were hidden in a corner👎👎

The German distributor must get his act together.   The product deserves better representation.

The product represents incredible value for money and need to be on proper active display
