What would be good cartridges in the sub R700-00 range?
People don't seem to rate the Sumiko Oyster which I can get new (fitted) for R445-00.
Apparently the Ortofon OM5 is quite good and @ R568-00 (dunno if that is fitted) it is not too much from HFX. The Grado Green @ R500-00 and the Red @ R680-00 from High End Audio also seem to be in high regard - where can I get these in Pretoria or Jo'burg?
Some also mentioned Shure but I don't know which one(s), how much they cost or where to get them in Pretoria or Jo'burg.
What do you guys think about Audio Technica? Any good?
