This sad old NAD lost it's LCD backlighting soon after a previous repair, so I was told. Not surprising when you see what was done. Fortunately only the bottom of the reflector lens behind the display had been deformed by the excessive heat.A pair of 18V midget flanged lamps did the trick, (sorry there was no alternative to the messy installation) the backlighting is uniform and there is no overheating.
