Are you saying there are another 2 floorstanders on the other side next to the Oriels?

Must be a huge wall of sound!
Yup... But the big girls dont get involved. They are loners and prefer their exclusive company during auditions.

Lovely room Jason, where did you get that big floating shelf?

Thanks vleisman. I built it from 16mm supawood with multiple braces inside. It houses a whole lot of other electronics inside enabling the homes digital side, cabling and power distribution. It's mounted on steel beams that are set into the wall. The centre pole became necessary as the weight increased - probably around 160 kegs at this point. At some point I intend to rebuild the whole thing in a new design... but still toying with ideas.

Had the extra amps, had the extra speakers.

So you just had these laying around?  :faint:

The setup just looks WOW!

Not exactly Danny! What I meant was that I was only using 9 of the 15 available amplified channels. The speakers I did have an extra set of, so threw them into the mix. Thank you for the compliment.

Beautiful room and setup. Love the acoustic panel as it adds to the decor.

Any reason you don't just use the Oriels as the mains for HT?

Thanks for the compliments. The Oriels have been moved to a dedicated Stereo room for music only. In a home theatre environment, itís better to have all the speakers matched closely.

Excellent looking room - and that looks like room treatment done right!

Those box shelves behind the speakers acting also as diffusers is genius! :notworthy:

Haha! Thanks, but this very room has been stripped out to make way for the current project.
