See? There's room for it under the shelf

(You know I'm just messing with you, right!  You actually have a great set-up there.)  :EGrin:

...tall boys eh? I've started with driving them from the pre-processor via two channels of one of the 5ch power amps. The sound is VERY natural with great reproduction of real musical instruments, and amazing with vocals. The bass, in my opinion, is just beautiful and makes my 2 SVS subwoofers blush a little. I played with all sorts of tuning via Audyssey XT32, but have come to the conclusion that the simply sound best with no processing whatsoever. They are power hungry though, so waiting to acquire some decent 4-core speaker cables to bi amplify the mid/tweet separately from the two internal bass drivers. I'm really happy with them.

Haha, didnt know what else to call them. Very interesting looking speaker.
As long as they sound excellent thats what counts. Will be interesting to your thoughts with the better cable.

Thank you Sir. Have added a couple bits with the Perreaux P350 dedicated to the Oriels, and dedicated HT speakers in the form of doubled up C607's / C60CEN etc.

How does the doubled up Center improve the audio?

Great setup otherwise. I'm sure many hours have already been enjoyed.

It's a big room. And the centre works too hard matching the rest of the room at higher volume. Two separate amps drive each centre, allowing them to work far less to achieve the required db's.

The same applying to the double'd up left and right. Had the extra amps, had the extra speakers. The difference? Huge.

Are you saying there are another 2 floorstanders on the other side next to the Oriels?

Must be a huge wall of sound!
