the website doesn't mention guy buttery though.

Thanks for the heads up, she is amazing, I saw her at the Design Indaba.

After seeing this post I checked her on YouTube. Was expecting a big, bearded boerseun ... not even close

well that was quite amazing.
kaki king is an extremely talented guitarist / artist - getting to see her play live was a true musical experience.
i was shocked at how empty the place was, but the people who were there were certainly enthusiastic.
she's still doing a show in clarens, & a couple in cape town. my advice is to grab the opportunity to see her if you can.
she's also very funny & entertaining during the somewhat lengthy re-tuning which she did for pretty much every song.

thanks for the heads up - i never would have caught it otherwise.

Also shocked at how empty venue was and like Ron I highly recommend those who can catch a show should.

Rumour has it she may be adding an SA made guitar to her arsenal.
