my buddy will be turning 50 this year and he would like to turn his double garage into a man cave (wife has okyed this :angrywife

he really loves his movies and wants to get the best and biggest TV/Screen with a budget of around R10 000.00.
we were talking earlier on and I told him about you lot, so hare I am asking for any advice from the experts.
I read earlier on about certain HD TVs which dont seem to be so very HD, he was talking about some 55" 4k TV?
I will admit that I do not know much about this; I mentioned that I often see people discussing High quality projectors on here too and would like to find out more .
so which way should I steer my bud?
