So not sure this is the best place for this thread but just a quick one, I ordered a DAC online and my intention is to use it for my car audio.
USB from my phone to the DAC, then digital coax from the DAC to my DSP for a fully digital signal.
I also ordered a cheap 5m coax cable, however they did not ship it via registered post so I can kiss that cable goodbye.
My DAC has landed and I want to go pick it up tomorrow and was wondering where I could get a cheap 3m - 5m coax cable with RCA connectors on the end?
Alternatively, is there much difference between using an actual coax cable vs an RCA cable? I believe the internal resistance is meant to be a bit different and that the coax cable is meant to be 75Ω [/size]Not sure about an RCA cable.
I am around the Rivonia area in Johannesburg. When I say cheap, I mean like Ellies cheap even. Just something so I can play with my new toy.
