Anyone have any first hand experience with this amp?

Haven't heard the Mjolnir myself, but heard all of Schiit's cheaper stuff like the Lyr 2, Jotunheim, Magni and Valhalla. They are all very good for the price. What are you aiming to pair them with? I heard it makes a good match with planars.

AKG K712. / Audioquest Nighthawk.
But TBH that's just one half of it.
Also interested in its functionality as a balanced tube (hybrid) pre.

The FREYA I, believe is a better pre as the ALPS Quad wafer is bettered by the 128-step relay based attenuator. Multiple operation modes, passive, jfet and 14dB 6SN7 tube gain makes it more versatile.

Passive and jfet does not offer enough gain for my combo, and it is not a headphone amplifier, although you could try headphone on the outputs.
