Hi all,

Really simple little question here, I want to make my own LED light chains for various applications. I know I can get good LED's by the thousand from Yebo electronics (www.fort777.co.za), but I have no idea what to use for a power source. Don;t I have to match the power to the length of the light chain (eg. if I have 20x LED's that are 25mA then I need a power source that will deliver 500mA. Ideally I'd like one that I can control with a dial (like a dimmer switch), are there such things available anywhere?

Secondly, for connecting up the LED's I'd prefer not to have bare wire anywhere. Is it possible to crimp the LED's connector legs onto 2 seperate cable strands?

Thanks
