That is just a bridge too far....not because I would not love to do that but I already feel just a little guilty indulging myself with "non money spinners" which is what diy is sadly....I've had to learn this the hard way and still suffer with my daft desires....I bought the 211 triodes from Schalk and put the idea to John......no way I could do it.....way too much money to do it right (anyone need them?)

On a different note KJ....I have a pair of speakers here I think you would really enjoy....one down side is that they need a little voema....Jordan jx92s in mltl38 cabs....a touch of Vivid in them I tell you!Could be the best fullrangers I have heard....except for that damned efficiency which is why I now contemplate selling them....hats off to Ted Jordan.....his abilities with driver design were just incredible.

Sorry K_J but I convinced Andre not to sell these speakers after I listen to them, as I stated before in another thread if it comes to bass, upper bass and the fullness in voices then these poofter 6" - 8" plastic bass drivers does not come close to this size of paper cone vintage drivers in most dynamics with only 4 watts behind it  :dop:

He will itch 😉😉 and I will remind him about my dibs.
He needs to become an audiophile and buy some Vivids or bowers or something they measure nicer and have great soundstage and freq range etc...
why would you be giving the man bad advise to hold on to old stuff 🤔,,, there are so much better today .

Andre, if you can land some Goldwoods, you can put Martin King's design to test
