So my Sony STR DN1040 was zapped by lightning in December (along with the ATV 3, PS4 and aircon unit). The insurance has given me the choice of the following AVR?s as replacement:
HARMAN KARDON AVR-1710S
DENON AVR-X2200
From reading the What HiFi revises, it is obvious the Denon is the way to go but I want your opinion.
I could also take an 8 grand payout. If I do this, then I will sell my Monitor Audio setup and downgrade to a 5.1 Bose Soundtouch 520 system which would far better suite my current lounge.
