I must have 15000 slides in boxes of 200 each. The boxes came from Boots the Chemist in England and at the time, the boxes were £2 each. I have not put them in a projector for many years. In 2009 I started scanning some, the scanner takes 4 at a time. But it is a painful process, almost as bad as digitising LP records, you have to catalogue them. The results are very good though. I set the scanner to 600 dpi and it (rather NP Navigator) auto-numbers the slides
