G, with your custom tech, would it be possible to do a 3.5mm female that immediately splits into two separate 0.3m sections terminating in a 2.5mm mono male each? (for Audioquest Nighthawk) This to attach to the 3.5mm/3.5mm cable you already made me?

Hi

I should be able to do it.  I just need to source decent 2.5mm as the places I can get from sell really basic stuff.

I may have to resort to fleabay as the demand for them is there.

Audiophiles can be anxious.
This cable arrived. The owner loves it so much he wanted to improve things by using even better Furutech connectors.

A simple job he thought that turned rather complex.

I spent some time slowly sorting it out.  The little mini xlr plugs had mangled and broken pins.  All 4 plugs.  As the actual connection insert is identical for the top of the range and the more basic one from Furutech I actually managed to swap pins to make 2 working connector inserts.

Croak, have you figured out how to open up the standard HD800 connectors?  If so I have an original cable with perished rubber sheaths above the Y-split which I wan to have reworked into a shorter cable with a multitude of adapters.

Sometimes I get to make something for my own use.  A piece of the original 24x4 headphone cable and HD600 connectors from Cardas Audio made in to a short headphone cable for portable use with the AK Jnr.  Very pleased.  New pads on the 600.  New lease of life.  Are the HD600 the Quad ESL or LS3/5A of headphones?  Surpassed by the modern but still so right?

Mogami cable.  Rean Mini Jacks and Cardas HD6** connectors for use with Ayre type set ups like Codex and Pono.
